We’re excited to have Coach Joey Fabela leading our Laguna Hills Academy Teams. Joey brings a strong basketball background, having competed on a team that reached both the CIF Semifinals and made a CIF State Playoff run. His coaching experience includes multiple years at the varsity level, where he developed a deep understanding of player development, team culture, and leadership. Coach Fabela’s combination of experience, knowledge, and passion makes him an outstanding mentor for our players both on and off the court.
Director Andrew has been a valued member of the Magic Elite family for the past 5 years. With an extensive background in basketball, he played NCAA Division 1 at Campbell University College for 4 years and professionally overseas in Poland. As the director of our Academy Teams, he brings a wealth of experience in both playing and coaching, adding immense value to our program. His exceptional ability to effectively communicate with our staff, players, and parents further enhances our program. Moreover, his capability to connect with our athletes by sharing his own experiences and aiding them in maximizing their potential sets him apart from most.
